Yenisei Siberia will gain success only if people believe in it, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich at today’s final plenary session.
“People must believe that we are moving from words to actions. Regional development should start right away. Government and business must fulfill their obligations and take all the necessary measures to improve the air condition and transport system – the issues that have become particularly acute recently,” he noted.
Arkady Dvorkovich expressed his firm confidence that federal government would provide sufficient support to Siberian macroregion. Developing railway, air transport service, technological aluminum valley, and agribusiness will be controlled by the Vice Premier.
Arkady Dvorkovich noted that the regions making up Yenisei Siberia have vast resources and cheap electricity though lack a perfectly designed transport system. More explicit consideration of improving traffic network will be actively considered later by the Ministry of Transport.
